BiBBS ACHIEVE

BiBBS ACHIEVE is a new study working with primary schools to better understand children’s health and development as they grow.

We’ll be inviting around 8,000 Year 3 children to take part and share information about their health and wellbeing. The study will run over seven years (2025–2032), following children as they move through primary school and beyond.

What we learn will be shared with teachers, helping them to identify children who may need extra support. We’ll also share our findings with families across Bradford, so they can use this knowledge to help improve their own wellbeing and that of their children as they grow up.

You can find out more about the activities the children will be taking part in at school through the links below:

What We Measure in the Study – Mothers

The mothers survey asks about their household, local area, language, education, socioeconomic and social circumstances, health and wellbeing, and parenting. The survey takes between 20-30 minutes to complete. You can view the full questionnaire here. For more information on where the domains came from and validated questions, click the button below:

What We Measure in the Study – Children

We collect a range of measures from children, parents, and teachers to better understand health, wellbeing, and development. Click the button below for a summary of what we do, why, and how long it takes.
