Socioeconomic position and metabolic profile in pregnant South Asian and White European women: findings from the Born in Bradford cohort

Socioeconomic position (SEP) has been shown to be related to many aspects of health and wellbeing and lower SEP has been related to worse pregnancy health outcomes. Besides SEP, ethnic differences in pregnancy outcomes have been described. This includes differences in metabolic profiles reported in BiB between pregnant White European and South Asian women. However, differences in these traits by SEP for both ethnic groups have not been described.
