Pioneering study of the ?glycome? at population scale: pilot assay of a major under-studied ?omics layer in diverse cohorts from across the HDRUK Multiomics Cohorts Consortium

Peoples health and wellbeing is driven by their genes, environment and behaviours. Genes code for proteins that are necessary for life. Glycosylation controls how proteins work. BiB has collected a lot of biological data and we want to add to that with measures of glycosylation. This will allow us to understand how our genes, environment and behaviours affect our health.
