In her main PhD she will explore the value of genomic and molecular (proteomic, metabolomic and epigenomic) data in improving risk stratification for common pregnancy and perinatal outcomes (pre-eclampsia, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, small and large for gestational age and preterm birth).

In her first mini-project she will use Mendelian randomization (genetic instrumental variables) to explore a possible causal effect of early age at menarche on pregnancy and perinatal outcomes.
