KidImmune, autoimmunity in children with cancer

In autoimmune disease our immune system attacks the body’s own proteins, which may have severe consequences. But most of us have autoantibodies that recognise our own proteins, but with apparently no health consequences. We have found indications of an autoimmune condition in children with cancer and wish to determine if this is a consequence of the cancer or might have contributed to its development. For this we want to investigate the serum samples of the few children in this cohort that later got cancer.
