We are committed to making sure that all the research we conduct within Born in Bradford is supported by our local community. In order to do this we consult with lots of different groups so they can advise us on our research. Find out more about our groups below.

The Parent Governors Group are parents who were recruited as part of the original BiB cohort, and has been instrumental in supporting effective communication of key research processes to parents and communities.

The BiB Young Ambassadors are a group of young people aged 14 to 18 who work across our research programmes at an advisory level; this involves attending meetings with internal and external research teams, and sharing their opinions, concerns and ideas about various research studies.

Our Community Research Advisory Group was established to advise researchers working on the BiBBS cohort and within the Better Start Bradford Innovation Hub. They are made up of parents of young children or people who live within the Better Start Bradford area.
