The BiB Young Ambassadors are a group of young people aged 14 to 18 who work across our research programmes at an advisory level; this involves attending meetings with internal and external research teams, and sharing their opinions, concerns and ideas about various research studies.

Our Community Research Advisory Group was established to advise researchers working on the BiBBS cohort and within the Better Start Bradford Innovation Hub. They are made up of parents of young children or people who live within the Better Start Bradford area.

How We Conduct Research

Born in Bradford is a cohort study tracking the health, development, and well-being of mothers and children from pregnancy onwards, collecting extensive data over time to understand health outcomes; data is securely managed under strict ethical oversight and linked with NHS and educational records to monitor participants’ health and educational progress over 20 years.
