Applied Research Collaboration

The Yorkshire and Humber ARC supports people-powered research that aims to tackle inequalities and improve health and well-being for our communities.

We are a partnership of organisations including Local Authorities, the NHS, voluntary community sector and communities, working together to co-produce research which has a positive impact on people’s lives.

Our research is focussed on the four key areas of healthy childhood, mental health and multi-morbidity, older people and urgent care that have been identified by our NHS partners and the public as priorities for Yorkshire and the Humber.  It supports Born in Bradford research and the sharing of this learning across the region and beyond.
