Maternal and Paternal Age and Risks of Birth Complications in the EU Child Cohort Network: Individual Participant Data Meta-analysis

This project aims to identify the associations of maternal and paternal age at conception with the risks of birth complications, and to assess whether any association is explained by socio-demographic or life style related variables. We will perform an individual participant data meta-analysis using data from multiple (ATHLETE and Lifecycle / EU Child Cohort Network) pregnancy cohorts to assess the associations of maternal and paternal age in the preconception phase with birth complications The exposures and outcomes have already been harmonized and we plan to do the analysis through DataSHIELD.
