Prevalence and Correlates of Eating Disorder Symptoms in a Diverse Multi-ethnic Community Sample of Adolescents

This project will describe how common eating disorder symptoms are in a community sample of adolescents. Eating disorder symptoms include restricting food intake, over-exercising, binge eating, purging, and worrying about body shape or weight. We will aim to understand how eating disorder symptoms vary across gender, ethnicity, BMI, socioeconomic status, food security status, and other mental disorders.
