Differences in body fat distribution and cholera across ancestries
The relationship between body fat distribution and cholera infection across different ancestries has not been well studied. However, we hypothesize that there is a genetic signature of natural selection for higher body fat distribution amongst ancestries that have a higher exposure to cholera.
