The Dimensions, Dynamics and Implications of Overcrowding on Child Health and Wellbeing

This is a proposed subproject within ActEarly a UKPRP funded research consortium, involving BiB, which focusses on upstream early life interventions to child health and opportunities in areas of high child poverty, focusing on Bradford and Tower Hamlets. The goal is to explore whether BiB data can be used to explore outcomes and main exposure effects associated with overcrowding and child health, wellbeing and development using relevant data from BiB. The subproject would also test for confounding factors that might be influencing potential associations between child health, wellbeing and overcrowding, for example exploring whether access to a garden and local green space may mitigate the effects of overcrowding.
