All cohorts with the degree of urbanization variable derived for the baseline period (pregnancy/birth) (DataSHIELD)

This project will study how the degree of urbanization at pregnancy/birth characterize the personal exposome at different ages: fetal life, pre-school age (0-4 years) and early childhood (5-8) accounting for geographical variability among countries. The degree of urbanization will be measured using a GIS-based Global Human Settlement Model (GHS-SMOD) indicator developed within ATHLETE task 2.5. The exposome domains considered for this analysis include diet, lifestyle, socioeconomic factors and for the fetal period also maternal lifestyle and health during pregnancy.
