We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow to lead quantitative research projects, and support knowledge mobilisation efforts.

Key areas of work will include:

  • Applied epidemiology – describing large cohorts, investigating risk factors
  • Evaluation – collaborating with data-science colleagues to evaluate study interventions
  • Research impact – co-producing research priorities to ensure meaningful research that has lasting impact

You will be part of Born in Bradford and the Bradford HDRC and EQUALISE research programmes, which will provide a professional network and development opportunities locally and nationally. The postholder will work with collaborators across these three programmes to identify research priorities and opportunities within the BiB data, initially focussing on early years education uptake and the impact of interventions within the early years, with potential for involvement in other research projects over time. The post-holder will also be embedded within Bradford Council as a part of the HDRC programme and will coproduce and develop their research questions and methods with district residents and with council staff, as well as disseminating findings and recommendations to ensure meaningful and lasting impact.
