Zara Ahmed

Intern Research and Implementation Assistant


Zara is a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science undergraduate at the University of Bradford on her placement year. She completing her internship with the YHARC team and will be the first intern with them. Albeit her STEM, laboratory and healthcare background, she studied Psychology at A-Level and has always had an avid interest in the specialty, Zara thought that this internship would be a great integration of science and psychology.

She is exploring what non-clinical roles she could potentially do post-graduate within the NHS and is adamant on applying and communicating evidence-based research to different audiences.

She is proficient in English, Pothwari and Punjabi.

Her hobbies include going to concerts, travelling and playing badminton.
