A Biomedical Sciences graduate, I have worked for the NHS in the blood sciences laboratory mainly biochemistry for four years. I later joined the Born in Bradford team as a Biomedical Support Worker mainly processing biological samples of various projects and clinical trials in order to provide relevant information requested by the research team. This also involves sample tracking, integrity checking, and maintenance of the Biobank which contains over 250,000 samples.
