Raf Azad

I’m working as a clinical Scientist at BTHFT specialising in the field of Clinical Biochemistry that plays a fundamental role in the diagnosis and management of diseases. I also have an extended research remit which involves evaluating the feasibility studies and providing guidance on the laboratory aspects of any new clinical trial or research study. I have also been part of the BiB team since 2009 and my main remit includes managing the BiB biobank and providing Scientific support to the project team. I am really enjoying being part of this exciting project that is at the cutting edge of the translational and epidemiological research.
