Lauren Jenkins

Research Assistant


Lauren recently joined Born in Bradford (BiB) as a Research Assistant on the IRL Trial This trial works with young people in secondary schools to evaluate whether an app that limits social media use can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and improve young people’s overall wellbeing.

Lauren graduated from the University of Manchester with an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology and from Cardiff University with a BSc in Psychology, which included a professional placement year.

Lauren’s research interests include adolescent mental health, psychological interventions, and psycho-oncology. She is passionate about conducting research that leads to meaningful improvements in mental health and wellbeing for young people and people living with long-term health conditions.
