Kirsty Crossley

Programme Co-ordinator


Kirsty is a Project Co-ordinator focusing on studies during pregnancy and the early years. Some of the projects Kirsty works on include the Born in Bradford’s Better Start (BiBBS) cohort study that will recruit up to 5000 babies in the Better Start Bradford areas over seven years; Born in Bradford’s Covid-19 longitudinal families study that will recruit and follow up families who were pregnant or had a baby during the Covid-19 pandemic; and the Supporting MumS randomised control trial that will investigate the effectiveness of a text message based post-partum weight management programme. Kirsty has a background in Psychology, completing her degree and integrated masters at the University of Leeds in 2018. Kirsty’s research interests include but are not limited to: pregnancy, early years, service provision, mental health and wellbeing research.
