I joined Born in Bradford in November 2024 as a Senior Research Fellow within the Physical Activity Research Group. My research focuses on health promotion and active behaviours, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. I have a particular interest in analysing large datasets and cohorts to explore trends and determinants of physical activity, as well as evaluating the impact and implementation of interventions and system-based approaches on physical activity and other health outcomes. My PhD assessed the implementation and sustainability of a whole-school physical activity programme, while my master’s research evaluated the effectiveness of a controlled trial using physically active lessons on behavioural indicators in children.
