Alyssa is a Psychology undergraduate at Leeds Beckett University, joining the Born in Bradford team as part of her placement year. She will be working with the Bradford Centre for Qualitative Research.
Alyssa chose to undertake her placement with Born in Bradford as an opportunity to work alongside researchers that are making a difference, while also gaining an insight into working life outside of an educational setting. She is looking forward to developing her research skills, gaining practical experience and learning more about how research can be applied to make a positive difference to communities.
Outside of university and work, her hobbies include reading, gaming and exploring her creative side. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
