Sally is the Programme Coordinator for the Better Start Bradford Innovation Hub and works closely with all members of the Innovation Hub team to ensure the smooth running of our projects. Sally has lots of experience in delivering complex research projects after leading large scale population health studies like the Health Survey for England and the Adult Psychiatric Morbidity Survey. Sally’s research interests are focused around mental health and wellbeing research, health inequalities and making the most of routine health data.

Why you enjoy working at BiB

I love working at BiB. The opportunity to work so closely with families in Bradford is very special and quite rare in research. The feeling that what we are doing can really make a difference has to be my favourite part.

Favourite toy when you were a child

Probably my vast collection of Sylvanian Families. I could spend hours making up stories for them and building a village for them all to live in.

Favourite pastime when not at work

One of my favourite things to do is to head out into the Yorkshire Dales for a lovely long walk. If there happens to be a nice pub along the way, even better!
