I am a qualified computer programmer with training and experience in IT Development and Systems Analytics. I have previous experience of designing and building content management systems (CMS) and analytics services to improve and learn how users interact with websites. I have expertise in how complex data systems integrate with each other and in establishing strategies to improve database efficiency and enhance the user experience (UX) of the target user populations for web application platforms. Before joining the Born in Bradford (BiB) IT Development team, I worked as a Systems Analyst at Dubai World Trade Centre, United Arab Emirates.
Parallel to the world of database management and computer programming, I am passionate about and have experience in organising and implementing community development programmes to improve the health and wellbeing of young people and families living in deprived neighbourhoods. My experience with community organisations strengthens my belief that robust community engagement is vital for rich data collection. I work on ensuring that computer programming & databases can optimise their support for community driven applied health services.
