Before joining the Born in Bradford team I worked in School Nursing in Keighley, as a Community Nursery Nurse. Prior to that I have worked in Health Visiting teams and within Children's Centres in York, where I am originally from. I really enjoy working out in communities with both children and adults, so my role as Community Research Assistant provides plenty of opportunity for this.

Why you enjoy working at BiB

I feel proud to be working for Born in Bradford on both the Growing Up study and the Born in Bradford Better Start project, as all the various research projects across the whole of BiB makes a positive difference to the lives of everyone living in Bradford.

Favourite toy when you were a child

My favourite toys as a child were my Sylvanian Families. Both my daughters have enjoyed playing with them too.

Favourite pastime when not at work

I like cooking and baking in my free time as well as spending time with family and friends.
