Kammy Siddique is the Community Engagement Manager for the Sport England Local Delivery Pilot team. He has been a senior manager for various Community & Voluntary sector organisations over the last 10 years and managed a large community sports centre, as well as, Public Health-funded programmes which aim to improve the Health & Wellbeing of diverse communities. He sensitively manages change and helps capacity build organisations & people.
Kammy is an advocate of involving local people in decision making and being directors of their own life course. He qualified in Youth & Community Development from University of Bradford in 2006, going on to work for West Bowling Youth Initiative, Bradford Youth Service and Bradford Trident. He most recently set up a social enterprise which aims to bring small behaviour changes that have long lasting impact on health.
One of his biggest achievements to date was summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. He is a keen sportsman, playing and managing football and cricket teams and has a particular interest in outdoor education. He loves meeting family & friends over food & in his spare time, he really enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
