Gillian has a background in physiology, epidemiology and statistics, and has many years of experience researching the epidemiology of acute and chronic health problems. Her main research interests are in the application of statistical methods for analysing exposures and outcomes across the life course. Gillian is also interested in population-based epigenetic studies, and how ethnicity, the environment and lifestyle factors interact with the genome to influence epigenetic change.
