Kier Harris

Research Assistant

Kier is a research assistant at Born in Bradford working on the IRL trial, which explores the impact of social media use on adolescents’ mental health and wellbeing. Within this role, she supports the recruitment of schools and young people, as well as the practical delivery of the trial.

She has also recently completed a PhD which aimed to understand how creative health programmes, specifically filmmaking, can support the mental health and wellbeing of young people with adverse childhood experiences.

Kier’s broader research interests relate to interdisciplinary approaches to developing accessible and inclusive approaches to understanding and improving mental health and wellbeing for vulnerable and marginalised groups.
