The association between multiple aspects of the built environment and individual health and wellbeing.

Explorative analysis, looking at the association between multiple aspects of the built environment using derived environmental hazard domains and combined index and (1) maternal mental health and (2) young people’s health and wellbeing.

The environmental hazard domain and combined index scores are derived from ongoing work on a wide range of environmental measures ( Krenz et al 2023); subsequent to the derived measures reported in this published work the applicants listed in this expression of interest have been developing a set of environmental hazard domains (air pollution, road traffic, public transport accessibility, lack of green space, poor food environment, poor walkability) and a combined environmental hazard index (incorporating all domains) for all residential properties in Bradford.

We are interested in how exposure to these environmental hazards impact upon health and wellbeing, particularly the exposure to multiple/ combined hazards.
