Age of Wonder: Living Well children and families service evaluation

The Living Well children and families service is a holistic approach to health and weight management. Evaluation plans will be provided to ensure the Age of Wonder data can be processed and fed-back in the most useful way for the Living Well evaluation. We are interested in AoW’s ‘at-scale’ data collection, how we can be kept up-to-date with this and how we could incorporate it into our own Living Well evaluation work, whilst reducing duplicate reporting. We’d be interested to see how BMI and health changes between Year 6 NCMP and Year 9 Age of Wonder.

Data required will include both aggregate and individual data from AoW Health Measures datasets for all Y9 pupils. This will include all the measures that pertain to weight management (i.e. height, weight, skinfold, bioimpedence), bloods measures and survey data. For the survey data there will be a particular interest in the modules on physical health and activity, mental health and wellbeing, and risk taking behaviours
