Jan Burkhardt is the Programme Director for the Active Bradford Local Delivery Pilot, a Sport England funded physical activity programme. The Bradford pilot is focused on improving the health and social outcomes of children aged 5 – 14 and their families programme and will evaluate the impact of taking a whole systems approach to physical activity. Born in Bradford, are leading the implementation and evaluation of the pilot on behalf of Active Bradford.
Jan has spent 15 years working as a Health Improvement Specialist on children’s physical activity within Public Health. She is the Strategic Lead for Dance in Health and Wellbeing with One Dance UK, the Arts Council funded national body for dance.
