Amandeep is a Psychology student at Leeds Beckett University, currently undertaking her placement with Born in Bradford. She is working on the Healthy Urban Places project and is working to help launch the new CoPPeR project as well.
She was particularly interested in the opportunity to explore her interests in Psychology and research, while being part of a large-scale project with meaningful real-world outcomes.
Through her placement, Amandeep hopes to build her confidence and gain a deeper understanding of how research is applied in the real world. She is particularly keen to gain practical experience and insight, while being part of a team working to making a positive difference in communities and help reduce health inequalities.
Outside of her studies and placement, Amandeep enjoy reading, listening to music and visiting cafes.
