Thanks to all the people who have participated in Born in Bradford our findings have been influential in changing the lives of families in Bradford and beyond.
Our participants have helped to change the city of Bradford. The answers to our questionnaires have helped us to understand what causes ill health such as asthma and depression. Medical data has helped improve the NHS service we provide, increasing the detection of diabetes and childhood disability. Blood samples are helping to develop new methods to detect disease and DNA is allowing scientists to develop new treatments.
