We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Programme Coordinator to join the Born in Bradford programme in order to coordinate the Healthy Urban Places Project.

The post holder will lead the co-ordination of the Healthy Urban Places research programme, establishing and maintaining systems and processes that ensure good governance and successful programme delivery.  They will actively engage with a wide range of stakeholders and across partner sites / academic institutions as well as line managing appropriate research support staff and linking with the wider Healthy Places BiB research portfolio.

 

Main duties of the job

 

They will work closely with members of the research team, collaborators (e.g. colleagues from local authorities and collaborating universities), in the implementation and management of the research projects. The post holder will manage their own workload and duties across projects including project management, ensuring appropriate recruitment, development of research protocols, obtaining ethical and research and development approvals, implementation of the research study, writing of academic papers, annual reports and presentation of research results and progress.

They will be required to work flexibly according to the requirements of the programme, work towards building a national and international reputation in public health research and contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture within Healthy Urban Places and BiB.
