We have a very successful Parent Governor Group that advises on the work of Born in Bradford. We’re working increasingly with primary schools in Bradford and we’ve recently set up a Teacher Reference Group comprising Heads, teachers and SENCOs mostly from primary schools to help steer and advise on the research we are conducting particularly the Primary School Years project. All our cohort children are in primary school at the moment, however we are also starting to build relationships with secondary schools in Bradford with a view to future collaborations. We had our first group meeting in March 2017 where we set out our terms of reference and the group met again earlier in July. Our next meeting is on Thursday 30th November 2017, at 4pm, at Bradford Institute for Health Research, Bradford Royal Infirmary site. We would welcome any Bradford teacher or teaching staff to join us for this meeting.
