Megan is an undergraduate student studying Neuroscience at the University of Leeds and is currently undertaking an industrial placement year with Born in Bradford. Megan will spend her year as a Research and Implementation Assistant as part of the Centre for Applied Education Research (CAER) team.
Megan is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people and providing related skills which can be carried through into adult life. Megan believes this can be achieved through implementations in schools and other public services.

Why you enjoy working at BiB

Being in an environment filled with passionate and intelligent people who clearly care a huge amount about what they’re doing is massively inspiring. I also love that the work that BiB does is applicable to real life and has been implemented to make real changes in the local community and beyond!

Favourite toy when you were a child

Anything to do with animals! Whether it was playing with my huge variety of teddies or collecting real life snails with my sister!

Favourite pastime when not at work

I love spending time with friends and family, especially outdoors and in the local countryside, as well as crochet, scrapbooking and anything else crafty and creative.
