I am a research fellow working on the Age of Wonder project. Before coming to BiB, I studied psychology at undergraduate and masters level before working as a research assistant at the Chester Research Unit for the Psychology of Health. More recently, I have been carrying out a PhD in nutrition at the University of Leeds. My PhD focuses on adolescents’ dietary behaviours and the school environment. The project looks to assess the nutritional composition of UK secondary school food (1) as provided by schools and (2) as chosen by students. My PhD also uses qualitative approaches to explore how and why students make their food choices within the school environment. My fields of interest include dietary behaviours, school food policy, physical activity, mental health and intervention design.
