Brief Description of Role:

We are looking to recruit a Research Data Quality Analyst to play a key role in supporting research activities within Born in Bradford to help to understand what works in reducing health inequalities and bringing about change for communities in Bradford.

Born in Bradford (BiB) is an internationally acclaimed applied research programme which aims to improve health and wellbeing through the development and evaluation of interventions to promote health, and the application of research into practice. This position will be a key role working on the ground breaking Better Start Bradford Innovation Hub (BSBIH) research programmes, hosted by BiB.

The focus of the role will be on providing robust processes for data quality assurance, data extraction and reporting outputs, liaising with providers of project data to resolve any queries, and providing a key source of knowledge and expertise about all datasets required to support the activities of the BSBIH. There will be the opportunity to develop wider skills in research, and data analysis and management.

The post holder will possess a degree level qualification or equivalent experience, detailed knowledge of analytical tools and SQL (or demonstrate the ability to learn), including T-SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services, and knowledge of designing, developing and maintaining databases. Experience of using analytic tools and familiarity with statistical packages is desirable.
