The role will involve working closely with the research team to develop, pilot and implement recruitment strategies and longitudinal surveys . It will also involve substantial engagement with communities and stakeholders to help co-produce priorities for ongoing research and ensure effective dissemination of our findings.
The Born in Bradford family cohort study follows the lives of over 13,500 children born between 2007-2011 to explore why some families stay healthy and others stay ill. Our oldest children are now entering adolescence and we are planning an exciting new follow-up of children within secondary schools across Bradford. We are looking for an organised research fellow with skills in community engagement / patient public involvement, mixed methods, and questionnaire design to help co-produce and pilot methods for this exciting new project.
The postholder will work with schools, teachers, and children and young people, to explore acceptability and feasibility of a range of methods, measures and assessments planned in this new wave of assessment and will develop applications for ethical approval.
