We have a vacancy for a talented senior research fellow with a background in epidemiology / statistics, and an interest in the translation of research into practice, to work on the the recently funded Horizon2020 LifeCycle project. The successful candidate will have an interest in how early life (pre-conceptual, pregnancy and early infancy) exposures affect life course health trajectories.
In addition to managing the day to day running of the project they will be responsible for co-ordinating the dissemination and knowledge transfer workstream, ensuring that the findings of the Lifecycle have the greatest possible societal and health impact. The overarching aim of LifeCycle is to bring together and harmonize data from 40 birth/pregnancy cohorts from across Europe that jointly include data on up to 250,000 mother-offspring pairs, complete analyses of potential effects of early life stressors on the development of key health outcomes and facilitate translation of these findings into clinical practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high profile research programme with internationally renowned experts which has the potential for real impact.
