Lila Goodwin

Research Fellow


Lila has recently joined the BIHR as a Research Fellow and will be working with the Age of Wonder cohort, investigating the link between school-level variables (e.g. bullying and academic pressure) and adolescent mental health.

Lila has a quantitative background, with a MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and experience in Berlin conducting mathematical modeling of respiratory infections. For her MSc thesis she worked with the Born in Bradford cohort investigating the link between early-life antibiotic use and childhood obesity.

Lila has a range of interests from mental health to infectious diseases, but with a focus on quantitative methods and child health.
