Rumana is a Senior Research Fellow/Study Manager for the BiB Breathes Team. She has been working with the Centre for Applied Education (CAER) as a Research Fellow since September 2021. Her research interest lies in evidence-based practice to bring sustainable change for the community in Bradford and beyond. Rumana joined the Born in Bradford team immediately after completing her PhD in Education from the University of Leeds. Since joining she has contributed towards a number of valuable reports including the Digital Devices before Five and Synthesis Report on the Bradford Opportunity area commissioned by the Department for Education. Prior to this, she worked at the University of Leeds as a teaching and then research assistant and also held position as an associate consultant researching sense of belonging, the healthcare system and sustainability of digital healthcare devices.
