Rukhsana is a senior research fellow managing a quasi-experimental study exploring the life-course health impact of a city-wide intervention to improve air quality in Bradford (#BiBBreathes). She is also involved in the ATHLETE programme looking at developing tools to reduce multi-level urban and chemical exposome. Rukhsana's other research interests include weight management, sleep, intervention tool development and behavioural change techniques.

Rukhsana is an experienced qualitative researcher with an appreciation for novel methods of research to improve diverse representation and inclusivity. Previously she has worked on a number of large RCTs and intervention development for weight management and tobacco cessation.
