Ning is a Senior Research Fellow in Born in Bradford. Ning has taken postgraduate studies in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Public health and International Heath Management at Imperial College London. He has almost completed his ESRC-funded PhD at the University of Leeds where he explored the relationship between the Dark Triad of personality traits and socially responsible behaviours. He is also the co-founder of Leeds Data Science Society, who routinely run data science training, industry networking and data science challenges in Leeds. Ning has led and mentored student teams to participate in national data science competitions and won the championship in the Hiscox Data Challenge in 2017. In 2018, he was nominated as "One to Watch" by Leeds Digital Festival.

Ning’s primary research interest is outlier behaviour in group dynamics, and he has a technical research interest in machine learning, data science and Bayesian inference. His hobby is time travelling through data and he loves cats very much!
