Laura is undertaking her PhD at the University of Leeds. Her study is being conducted in Bradford and is a realist evaluation of the take up of Better Start Bradford’s community antenatal programmes. Since starting her studies in 2019 she has worked closely with the research team at the Innovation Hub and is regularly based at BIHR’s offices. With 20 years of experience in social and commercial research and an MA in Social and Public Policy, Laura has a passion for understanding more about families’ experiences of services and their access to a range of different provision. She is also interested in how this can impact on their life chances.
