Before joining the Born in Bradford team I worked as a teacher in various Bradford primary schools. After leaving teaching I worked for a local mental health charity whilst studying for an MSc in Psychology. I first started working for Born in Bradford as a Community Research Assistant and I’m excited to continue my journey with them as a Research fellow. My Master’s thesis explored health inequalities and focussed on the ways that gender role beliefs influence health behaviours. My fields of interest include mental health, health inequalities and gender identity.
