Halima is a Research fellow contributing to both the Act Early project and the Born in Bradford COVID-19 study here at the Bradford Institute for Health Research. She is particularly interested in obesity, mental health, research priority setting, co-production with seldom heard communities and health inequalities. Halima graduated with her PhD in December 2021. Her PhD was in partnership with the University of Bradford and Born in Bradford. Her PhD explored the obesity research priorities of Pakistani women living in deprived areas of Bradford to inform a research agenda that is reflective of their unmet needs.
