Joyti joined the team in July 2020 and is interested in Developmental and Health Psychology. She works for the Better Start Bradford Innovation Hub and the University of York and she is currently managing project evaluations of early years interventions (Baby Steps and HENRY) which aim to support children and families during pregnancy and birth.

Joyti has recently completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Leeds and her work involved collaborating with NHS Clinical Genetics exploring the cognitive, motor and behavioural profiles of children with Copy Number Variants (small genetic changes). Prior to this she worked as an Assistant Educational Psychologist and completed her placement year with Born in Bradford during her undergraduate Psychology degree at the University of Leeds working across a range of BIB primary school projects involving cognitive, motor and psychological assessments. Joyti is a qualified Project Manager and Mental Health First Aider and is passionate about working to reduce health inequalities and improve health and wellbeing.
