Amy is a Research Fellow working in Born in Bradford (BiB) and the Centre for Applied Education Research (CAER). She is currently leading a study investigating teachers understanding of working memory. She is also involved in research investigating the effects of pre-term birth on educational attainment.

Amy has a background in Psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds, and her master degree at the University of York. She is currently writing up her PhD thesis. This work investigated whether children and adults can prioritise particularly valuable information in working memory. She is currently writing up her thesis.
